Optimized DNA sequence  encoding  extracellular domain of human CD114 including a C-terminal 6His tag was expressed in HEK293 cells.

Molecular weight:

Recombinant CD114 (GCSF receptor) is a monomer protein consisting of 608 amino acid residue subunits, due to glycosylation migrates as an approximately 90 kDa protein on SDS-PAGE.

Biological Activity:

The activity of Recombinant human CD114 was measured by its ability to inhibit the G-CSF induced proliferation of NFS60 mouse myeloid cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 20-80 ng/mL.



Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method.
Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/µg(1EU/µg).

Recombinant GCSFR (CD114) is supplied as a 0.2 μm filtered PBS solution, pH7.2.

Recombinant CD114 as supplied, can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8° C for one month, or at -20°C to -70°C for twelve months.

Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

The mature GCSF receptor (GCSF-R) is composed of an extracellular region, which consists of an Ig-like domain, a cytokine receptor homologous (CRH) domain, three fibronectin type III- like domains, a transmembrane region, and a cytoplasmic domain (4). The CRH domain is further divided into an N-terminal (BN) and a C-terminal (BC) domain containing a WSXWS sequence motif that is highly conserved in the CRH domain of cytokine receptors.
